Michalya Schonwald Moss – michalya@tedxjerusalem.com // Convener of TEDxJerusalem – Michalya attended TEDIndia in 2009, where her passion for “ideas worth spreading” was born. She recently completed a Masters degree in international development from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Michalya divides her time between her two homes: Jerusalem and Johannesburg, where she researches the social economy and the impact of social entrepreneurship and social enterprise – accumulating frequent flier mileage between the head and feet of the African continent.
Anja Waleson - anja@tedxjerusalem.com // Speaker Program Director – Anja is a curator and educator currently living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands where she is passionately committed to the quality and diversity of inspiration and innovation. Her relevant experience and expertise lies in curating dynamic programming as well as engaging speakers and stakeholders. Her experience includes organizing TEDxAmsterdam.

Beto Maya - beto@tedxjerusalem.com // Head of Production – born in Mexico City and moved to Israel at the age of 20. He has been involved in Jewish Education since he arrived in Israel and is active in social initiatives to promote co-existence in the Middle East. Today, he is the Director of Gatherings and Recruitment for the ROI Community and is responsible for Summit selection, programming, regional and local gatherings and more. Beto will be responsible for developing the program and the production and implementation of the event.

Brachie Sprung has been working with PresenTense for over three years and during that time she has overseen the training of more than 150 entrepreneurs throughout Jerusalem and the world. Brachie is involved in the creation and operation of programs that engage and inspire some of the most creative minds around the world – those who are investing their ideas and energy to revitalize their local communities.

Haneen Magadlh // Translator – Originally from Baka Al Ghabira, Haneen now calls Jerusalem home. Trained social worker and with a Masters in non-profit management, Haneen is the Director of “Merkaz Aata,” a human rights organisation in East Jerusalem. She facilitates dialogue through group work on issues concerning: political conflict, empowering the Arab sector, poverty alleviation and women and children’s rights. Haneen also lectures at the Al Qasami educational center in Baka Al Ghabira.
Ido Levit // Artistic Director – Ido was born and raised in downtown Jerusalem At age 23, he began creating and launching initiatives in Jerusalem and he is currently involved in many cultural and social projects. Some of his independent projects include being the owner of the Hakatze nightclub, which featured music, drag shows, poetry and exhibitions. He is also the owner of the Hamikve Dance Bar (LGBT), a night club in Jerusalem. Finally, Ido is the owner of Hakatze Cultural Productions, a production company that creates cultural events in Jerusalem, including the Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem, the Urban Fringes street exhibitions of plastic art, the Balabasta festival, the Jaffa Road renovation launch event and Alternative Earth Day.

Sivan Vardi // Sivan@TEDxJerusalem.com // Project Coordinator – Sivan moved to Jerusalem 5 years ago and fell in love with the city. During the past 4 years she has worked with “New Spirit” as Deputy Director and operated as a social activist. Sivan served as Chair of the Steering Committee for PresenTense’s entrepreneurs program in Jerusalem and moderated a group for women’s empowerment in the Kiryat Hayovel neighborhood. Sivan is currently completing a master’s degree in political communication at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Lindsay Litowitz // Consultant – Lindsay is a New York City based consultant with a passion for intercultural dialogue and crafted gatherings. She has worked with Taglit-Birthright Israel, Birthright Israel NEXT, Jerusalem Venture Partners and others on program development, facilitation, volunteer management, networking and development. She was proud to represent TEDxJerusalem at the inaugural TEDxSummit in Doha, Qatar and is currently pursuing her Masters in International Affairs at Columbia University.
