He has been involved in Jewish Education since he arrived in Israel and is active in social initiatives to promote co-existence in the Middle East. Brachie Sprung - email@example.com // Partnerships -Mrs. Brachie Sprung is Advisor for Foreign Affairs and Media to the Mayor of Jerusalem. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing strategy and setting priorities for international engagement and public relations. Mrs. Sprung manages the building and maintaining of relationships with business people, international brands and institutions, philanthropists, and political and diplomatic contacts on behalf of the City of Jerusalem and the Mayor. In addition, Mrs. Sprung is the Mayor’s speechwriter and serves as international spokesperson for the Jerusalem Municipality, working to promote Jerusalem and the Mayor’s vision and policies for the city in the international media.
Prior to joining the Mayor’s advisory team, she served as Associate Director for Business Development at PresenTense , an international organization that trains social entrepreneurs in 12 cities around the world. Before joining PresenTense in 2008, Mrs. Sprung served as an Account Executive at Ruder Finn Israel, an International PR firm that focuses on providing marketing and public relations to technology start-ups and NGO’s. Mrs. Sprung was one of the core members instrumental in bringing TEDX to Jerusalem in 2012, and was in charge of partnerships and fundraising for the event. She has a BA in Political Science and Communications from Bar Ilan University as well as a Certificate in Journalism and Communications.
Haneen Magadlh - firstname.lastname@example.org // Translator – Originally from Baka Al Ghabira, Haneen now calls Jerusalem home. Trained social worker and with a Masters in non-profit management, Haneen is the Director of “Merkaz Aata,” a human rights organisation in East Jerusalem. She facilitates dialogue through group work on issues concerning: political conflict, empowering the Arab sector, poverty alleviation and women and children’s rights. Haneen also lectures at the Al Qasami educational center in Baka Al Ghabira.
Ido Levit - email@example.com // Artistic Director – Ido was born and raised in downtown Jerusalem At age 23, he began creating and launching initiatives in Jerusalem and he is currently involved in many cultural and social projects. Some of his independent projects include being the owner of the Hakatze nightclub, which featured music, drag shows, poetry and exhibitions. He is also the owner of the Hamikve Dance Bar (LGBT), a night club in Jerusalem. Finally, Ido is the owner of Hakatze Cultural Productions, a production company that creates cultural events in Jerusalem, including the Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem, the Urban Fringes street exhibitions of plastic art, the Balabasta festival, the Jaffa Road renovation launch event and Alternative Earth Day.
Sivan Vardi // firstname.lastname@example.org // Project Coordinator – Sivan moved to Jerusalem 5 years ago and fell in love with the city. During the past 4 years she has worked with “New Spirit” as Deputy Director and operated as a social activist. Sivan served as Chair of the Steering Committee for PresenTense’s entrepreneurs program in Jerusalem and moderated a group for women’s empowerment in the Kiryat Hayovel neighborhood. Sivan is currently completing a master’s degree in political communication at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
